Family week away in SA

Tuesday morning, we left the lake for Fredericksburg, for a nice hike up Enchanted Rock
The girls were ready to head up
 and so were the boys!
 so strong
 Mom and her kiddos
this lil thought she looked "so cute" with her legs crossed
Daddy let James out of the pack
He was off...
They made it to the top
checking out the tad poles in the pools
 and snack time
Family picture at the top before we head down
 They're ready
 Thunderstorm approaching

 short break
 Like father like daughter
 enjoying the great outdoors

We made it down just in time for a huge thunderstorm.  We will be back- such a beautiful place!
After walking around the cute German town of Fredericksburg, TX, we headed to San Antonio for a few days in anticipation of a few (more) days of bad weather.
It's never ending down here... we easily have +30" of rain already this year.

Wednesday, we went to the DoSeum with Mimi
Brick at the entrance in honor of these cute kids
 James pushed the cart
 Grace shopped for Lobster
and then, checked out with Mimi
 The town fire chief
 and the master tractor driver
Daddy ate ice-cream prepared by G
and our little vet cleaned up injured animals
we even met the pilot of Nemo
 I spy... YOU!
 Fun Tree House
 and really cool benches

 Look! A turtle

 the monkey's climbed the ropes

 and he followed Sis
and then came down the huge slide
Sis, wasn't about to get in that enclosed twisty slide from 3 stories up,
 but, Daddy did! (kinda)
 We played in the water
and had our own mariachis band

Two sweet butterflies!
Wednesday night Mommy and Daddy got to go on a date
to Southerleigh in the old Pearl Brewery
 We had a wonderful dinner
and then walked along the river walk.  Such cool art!
Thursday morning we headed back to the lake
