Daddy took off Friday!
So, we loaded up and headed to Brazos Bend State Park
Where the Gators were out
Never turn your back to an Alligator!
I spy 3 gators!

She wanted to ride on "Daddy's neck"
Very few people
Nice, overcast day
Bub finally fell asleep
so many beautiful coastal birds
we saw 43 Gators
this HUGE frog!
Grace climbed up the Observation tower to "hide"

Saturday we cheered on the Bears
then, Jace and Heather watched our 2 littles while we went on a date!
We enjoyed dinner on the patio at a new restaurant
Shrimp and Grits, Pork Bellies
Quinoa stuffed Avocado and Guda Cheese Queso with Pretzel Stickes
After, we enjoyed a beer (or 2) at World of Beers
Marked on the Chalk wall... and headed home!
Sunday, G checked out the pumpkins between Sunday School and Church
We loved having a long weekend with Daddy
