We left Houston around 9am in 93* weather, and as we drove into Waco, we came across the cold front... the temp dropped 19* in 5 minutes! It was beautiful and actually felt like Fall!
We started our Waco Day at the Mayborn Museum... as a student teacher at Baylor, Steph taught here on a regular basis... so it was fun to now watch our children enjoy it!
Native American Room:
Learning from our resident drummer
They caught on fast
in the Tee-pee
Music Room:
Dancing to their own tune
Daddy and G in the sound booth
G and TioTim while he iced his bum ankle
Water Room:
Making a dam for the boat and ducky
Girl in the bubble
HUGS
followed by... POP!
Western Room:
cooking in the covered wagon
Tea:
Tea Party
Weather Room:
Tim fulfilling his life long dream as a "weather man"
tornado!
Oh yes... typical Daddy
What fun we had at the museum... the girls were exhausted... so Nat and I took them to the hotel for a nap (which was a failure)... and then headed for the big game with pants, jackets, and blankets! :)
The breeze was chilly... but we had a blast! (the girls left right after half time), and the boys stayed the entire game of course, and enjoyed George's before coming to the hotel. Overall... a GREAT weekend in Waco!
G.G. LOVES her "Timmy"
Burrrrr!
